Our Mission Statement
The Witches of Windsor, or W.OW, as we like to call ourselves has been formed in an effort to bring together and assist our ever-increasing Pagan community. To provide a gathering place that is helpful, informative and offers a broad-based scope of products and services to Pagans across North America. It's been a long time coming. As Pagan consumers many of us are constantly frustrated by the over-whelming sea of internet stores that offer Occult items, but no resource center to date offers one-stop shop Pagan supplies, nor a reference point where we can locate items needed for our often unique requirements. Few if any online store can offer "everything" a Pagan might need. Some of us have attempted to market our own products and services on the web, and sorely discovered the tremendous amount of time and money required to design & publish a web store only to discover it doesn't even appear on a search engine. The Pagan community is unique in its needs, and we understand those needs. We strive to fill a niche market, that few marketers understand. Because we are Pagans we can fill this void in a way that has never been achieved in modern times. Now there may be some of us who still take a dim view of "commercializing" or capitalizing on a religious sector. I would like to address those concerns here and offer some key points of counter:
The Witches of Windsor has taken the stance that we are a very specific consumer. We have developed a strategy that is conducive to promoting our fellow crafts people. We assist each member with his/her specific product line and in turn promote their products and services to our own Pagan community of consumers. We know that we seek and obtain products from commercial sources, so why would we not support each other's ventures rather than put money in someone else's pocket? Somebody somewhere will always be willing to sell our products to us, so why not buy from a fellow Pagan?
Secondly, WOW commits to the mindset; by helping someone else we are helping ourselves to achieve higher realms of possibilities. In addition to the profits our Vendors achieve on their product or service, our Vendors are paid a 25% commission on any product that is sold from our store-owned catalogue to their customer. We maintain a database of vendor's clients ensuring that every sale is credited to the appropriate Vendor.
Thirdly we have formed a world-wide gathering place with our social network, this aids us in reaching out to fellow pagans in a fun and playful place. Many of us are isolated in our tradition and it is truly a wonderful thing to meet and greet people of like mind and of various traditions in a non-judgemental open-minded environment.
We have in essence created a co-op based marketing system that shares profits with members and expands each Vendors revenue potential. As well as a friendly, informative environment where we can learn, share and celebrate our unique view points.
W.O.W will be ever increasing its scope of services. We are constantly researching the internet to locate valuable information and free resources for our community. We also have an "open door" policy with all members who require assistance in any matter, Spiritual advice or otherwise at all times.
We look forward to building a powerful and effective Pagan presence at W.O.W. A presence that is built on honesty, integrety and co-operation, without judgement or prejudice of another's religious beliefs.
